Today,I had a conversation with 2 of my colleagues who are Muslims,about alcohol.
One of them asked me if the perfume has alcohol in it,can we still do our solat?
I was quite surprised by this question but it's hard for me to answer it.
Nevertheless,I just gave out my best shot.
Afterwards,she asked me,what is my view on alcohol consumption.
So,I told her that it's not a good thing,because alcohol makes us forget about ourselves.
She then told me,she saw a photo of 2 arab women drinking alcohol in Europe.
So,she's doubting herself in this haram & halal thing.
I just nod my head when I listen to her saying that.
As a Muslim,all I know is we can't doubt ourselves even our religion.
Just like one of the auntie who at my workplace said,internet have so many ways to munipilate you.
When in doubt,read the Quran because that is where the answers will be.
When my colleague said that,she wasn't satisfied that knowing those arab girls can consume alcohol but not us,I felt a shot to the heart.
The way she say it,it's like she's doubting Allah. Subhanallah.
I'm not saying she's a bad person but I think we have to stop believing the internet in this era.
Because it can anytime crushes our faith to our religion.
That's why we must learn to recite His name in order to hold a grip on our Iman.
The biggest between us and Allah is,Us.
Stay firm on our religion & insya Allah,every question will be answered.
